About
Preparing for Departure

There are many things to take care of before you come to North Seattle Community College. Please plan ahead to avoid last-minute preparation.

  • Make sure you bring the necessary documents including your passport with U.S. visa and I-20
  • Ensure you have enough money for your time in Seattle. Do not carry large sums of cash. Traveler's checks or wire transfer is the best way.
  • Confirm housing and airport pickup. See Where to Live for more information.

For information on what to expect when you arrive at a U.S. port of entry, see
http://www.ice.gov/sevis/factsheet/100104ent_stdnt_fs.htm
