North Seattle Community College is located on a 62-acre campus in the city of Seattle. We are 5 minutes away from a major shopping center, movie theatres, restaurants and parks, and 15 minutes away from downtown Seattle.
Seattle is a large city, but it includes a lot of nature as well. You will see lots of trees, rolling hills, and water along with skyscraper buildings. The public transportation is efficient and easy to use.
Seattle has been voted the most dynamic city by Fortune and Money magazine. It was also voted the most educated city in 2006. This international city is home to Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing, and Amazon.com.
There are many professional athletic teams in Seattle including the Mariners for baseball, Seahawks for football and the Sonics for basketball.

Seattle is located on the Puget Sound of the Pacific Ocean. On the eastern side of the city is Lake Washington, and the Cascades Mountain Range is to the east of the lake. The weather in Seattle is temperate, ranging from 36-50 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and from 55-80 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. Rainfall averages 5 ½ inches per month in the winter and 1inch per month in the summer.
