At North Seattle Community College (NSCC) we want to make sure that international students have the assistance and resources they need to make their stay and studies in Seattle a success. The International Programs office staff can assist international students in these areas:
- Admissions
- Academic and Immigration Advising
- Activities
Housing
The International Programs office is located in the College Center Building room CC 2357.

Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5 pm, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Contact International Student Programs if you have questions concerning admission criteria, application deadlines, required application materials, the status of your application or initial registration procedures. To download the application materials click here.
Academic Advising: Even though you will have an academic advisor in the Advising Center (also located in the College Center building) that specializes in your area of study, additional assistance is provided by the International Programs (IP) office. We can help you with special enrollment needs you may have, your academic progress, and transfer to other schools.
Immigration: As an international student on non-immigrant visa status, you will need to follow the appropriate Immigration and Naturalization Service regulations during your stay in the U.S. If you have questions or concerns about any immigration matters, the IP staff will be happy to help you.
Personal concerns: The IP office can assist you with personal concerns or refer you to the appropriate services or agencies regarding adjustment to U.S. society and education, medical issues, financial matters, legal rights and responsibilities, U.S. income taxes, and preparation to return home.
ISP plans activities to help make your experience in the United States and at NSCC memorable. Some of the activities include: -
Visits to area islands, museums, and local industries such as Microsoft
- Ski trips, potluck dinners, bowling, and camping
- And more!
All international students are welcome and encouraged to join the activities and to become involved in the International Association (I.A.), an International club for all students at NSCC.
